Cultural
Tourism:
cultural activities during the tourist stay in Tunisia
This
item concerns persons who are intellectually interested
in the history, the traditions of the Tunisian people,
their specific aspects and way of life and their
culture.
These
activities will be arranged in such a way that it does
not influence the holiday and the restful atmosphere of
the stay.
The
main target is to know more closely the typical sites
and particularities of the country and the way of life
of the typical regions of Tunisia.
For
insuring the success of these activities, a high level
team of interveners has been selected among university
professors and well known personalities including
specialists in history, archaeology, oriental and
Tunisian music, painting, sociology, all of these
interveners represent and give a true image of the
Tunisian culture.
Conception
of the cultural program
:
- History,
geography of the typical regions of Tunisia, with
conferences, excursions and visits to the cultural
places.
- Visit
of national museums, archaeological sites, mosques,
a Ksar, the Souks, etc…
- Land
and marine flora and fauna of Tunisia. Nature
and environmental protection
- Conferences
on important and interesting subjects : Islam
religion, Arabic literature, calligraphy, painting
(“Chevalier Bleu”, etc…)
- Tunisian
and Arabic/Oriental/Andalusian
musics, selected concerts, festivals, etc…
- Folk
and oriental courses with traditional instruments
and dresses.
- Traditional
Tunisian Arts and Crafts with detailed visits
like manual weaving, mosaic, manual painting on
earthenware tiles, jewels, pottery, etc…
- Tunisian
typical meals, advantages of the olive
oil, specialties, typical ingredients and components
- When
possible, attendance to traditional wedding ceremonies
- Camel
and horse racing, attendance to typical shows
of horse racing with acrobatics and juggling with
traditional guns (Fantasia)
- Sports
: golf, tennis, horse riding, skin diving, promenades,
hunting (boars, partridges etc…)
- Competitions
and plays : bridge, chess, bowling, etc…
- Organization
and Supervision of cultural trips for school and
university groups, cultural circles, etc…
- Language
courses for Arabic, French, German and English
- Training
in computer science and in Internet
- Wellness
and anti-stress:
thalassotherapy, water cures, etc…

tourist programs for 3rd age persons
with medical supervision/assistance and cultural

between persons having the same hobbies and cultural

of business trips in Tunisia : hotel reservations,
meetings with Tunisian partners and/or officials,
special programs for seminaries, directors board
and Brainstorming meetings (all in well selected
and appropriate places)
